CBC Support Group – 1st Sat of every month

April 4 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Three people holding All Cancer Lives Matter sign

1st Saturday of every month join us for our monthly support group

The South London CBC Support Group provides a safe, culturally relevant space for people affected by cancer to come together, share experiences, and access trusted support. The group aims to reduce isolation, improve emotional wellbeing, and empower individuals with the knowledge and confidence to navigate their cancer journey. Through regular sessions, peer support, and access to specialist input, we create an environment where lived experience is valued and voices are heard.

Our objectives focus on increasing engagement with support services, improving understanding of cancer and treatment pathways, and addressing the inequalities that often impact Black, mixed and ethnic minority communities. We work collaboratively with local partners to ensure participants are informed, supported, and connected to the wider health system.

As a result, members report feeling less isolated, more confident in managing their health, and better equipped to make informed decisions. The group strengthens community connections, builds trust in services, and contributes to improved health outcomes across South London.
